Beyond The Clouds has been running successful Yoga Journeys in the Himalayas since 2012. These tours provide vital funds to support the work of our charity: First Steps Himalaya, improving early-years education for thousands of disadvantaged rural Nepali children.

Why Lead a Yoga Journey?

Our Yoga Journeys take you and your clients to the best, hand-picked locations, offering an authentic and unforgettable experience in Bhutan or Nepal.

We take care of all the administration for your trip and have a very thorough booking process for clients. We use local guides who take care of all arrangements on the ground. The yoga teacher’s role is to coordinate with the group, liaise with the guide, and lead 1-2 yoga sessions per day in lovely yoga studios and spaces.

Our director has hand-picked the gorgeous, quality accommodation used in our Yoga Journeys and each hotel has delightful yoga spaces. We have spent much time traveling in Bhutan and Nepal and personally select excellent restaurants for our clients.

Who is it for?

Our Himalayan Yoga Journey Leaders are experienced yoga teachers with a strong network of students interested in travelling and deepening their yoga practice.

Our Yoga Journeys are 12 nights long in Bhutan and Nepal and you will stay in quality accommodation. Your trip will include yoga in beautiful locations, sightseeing, and day walks to monasteries and remote villages.

Our itineraries are meticulously planned to show you the best of this majestic region. During your stay, time off is incorporated into the programme for you to explore and take in the stunning views and surroundings.

When could I travel?

We usually schedule trips for March - April or October - November, as these are the best time of year to be in the Himalayas, with pleasant weather and clear views.
