Meet Your Yoga Teacher
Judy Cameron
Judy first travelled to Bhutan in 1989 as a VSO nurse, where she developed a deep connection with the country’s culture, spirituality and traditions. Returning with her family in 1997, she taught yoga to the expatriate community and a local high school, and spent time living in a remote Himalayan village. It was in Bhutan that she met her spiritual teacher and began her journey of simple Buddhist practice.
Since leaving the NHS in 2014, Judy has dedicated herself to yoga, developing Yoga Scotland’s 500-hour teacher training programme, leading the Edinburgh course, and running retreats in the UK and internationally.
With her intimate understanding of Bhutan and its spiritual heritage, she is delighted to lead this special yoga journey back to a country that has profoundly influenced her life.

A Journey Designed for Connection
This isn't a yoga retreat where you stay in one place.
Nor is it simply a sightseeing tour.
It's a carefully paced Himalayan journey where yoga, mindfulness, and cultural immersion naturally complement one another.
Your days might begin with a gentle morning yoga practice before exploring ancient monasteries, wandering through peaceful villages, discovering Bhutan's rich cultural heritage, and taking in the country's serene natural beauty. Evenings offer time to reflect, connect with fellow travellers, and enjoy delicious local cuisine.
The journey concludes at our beautiful eco-retreat at Namo Buddha, Nepal, where there's time to rest, practise yoga, visit the nearby monastery, and simply absorb everything you've experienced before heading home.
